What are the standard Etsy fees?
Etsy charges a £0.15 listing fee, a 6.5% transaction fee on the total order value, a payment processing fee of 4% + £0.20, and a 0.48% regulatory fee.
Are Etsy Offsite Ads mandatory?
They are optional for sellers making under $10,000 a year, taking a 15% cut of the sale. If you pass the $10,000 threshold, they become mandatory but drop to a 12% cut.
Do I pay VAT on Etsy fees?
Yes. If you are a standard UK seller without a VAT number, Etsy applies 20% VAT to your seller fees (but not directly to the item price).
